On Fighting

I spent seven years as a police officer in a large city in the southeast and had the privilege to work in an area where I actually got to test myself physically and mentally. After leaving police work, I spent some time as a firearms instructor, but also spent a lot of my energy improving other skills such as hand-to-hand and fitness–a habit that I continue to this day.

I don’t do firearms instruction any more, but I still love to pass on the lessons that I’ve learned (and am still learning) about being mentally and physically prepared to take on a threat.
